AI Hilal Bank’s Child Safety Initiative Named ‘Most Innovative CSR Campaign’
AI HilaI Bank has been awarded for 'Most Innovative CSR Campaign UAE 2018' from Global Banking and Finance Review, which is a leading financial publication in the Middle East. The reward highlights its Child Road Safety Campaign, which was lined with the bank's plan of long-term Corporate Social Responsibility. The campaign was launched a year ago, in order to not only satisfy the Bank's responsibility towards the community but also to raise virtual awareness about safer roads for children. By collaborating with several hospitals, the bank has distributed approximately 150 child car seats along with a car seat awareness campaign on social media, and throughout its branches. The noticeable signage of the bank, which is 'Baby on board', was packed with additional stickers and sunshades, and then distributed to the public. The positive result was that the Bank had yielded great influence in mandating and reinforcing a culture of child road safety. Furthermore, the sustainability of this campaign is being ensured by internally promoting the child safety with employees of the bank.
