Sustainability Victoria urges people to embrace electronic waste recycling in animated campaign
Sustainibility Victoria, which is dedicated to environmental issues, revealed its new campaign, which targets to improve the way of throwing away e-waste, by highlighting the danger of inefficient recycling of e-waste, threatening both humans and the environment. According to Icon Agency, Sustainability Victoria drew this inspiration from Pixar animation studios and 1960s program, which is named The Jetsons. The campaign primarily aims to generate changes in people’s general thoughts, in order to make adjustments on their attitude toward old electronics. Icon Agency’s creative director denoted that one of the creative challenges is to provide essential knowledge about e-waste and the way to dispose of them correctly. By educating Victorians, Sustainability Victoria expect to see people redefining the value of recycling e-waste and to recycle e-waste into more valuable metals and new products. Apparently, Sustainability Victoria believes that this campaign will contribute to alleviating environmental issues as it enhances efficiency of recycling e-waste.
