An organization, called Easterseals Southern California (ESSC), provided a thought-provoking innovative advertising campaign with assistants of more than 10,000 people with disabilities in several parts of California. The title of this campaign is “Change the way to see disability”, under the goal of creating inclusion and encouraging social change. To feature this campaign, the organization created a slogan, which is ‘Celebrate. Don’t Separate.’ Mark Whitley, who is the president and CEO of ESSC commented that when we unite as one, we can create social change and break down barriers. He highlighted that we should not create generalizations about people with disabilities, but rather launch a movement that helps people to build a more inclusive world. The campaign utilizes several different channels such as print, internet, outdoor ads, in order to promote the intended message of inclusion. ESSC aids over 10,000 people per year under the services, such as development, early education, employment aid, independent living options, with a purpose of creating a better society.
